Take a tour with us as we go through the Lausche Building at the Ohio Expo Center. This building is the venue for Haunted Fest 2016, and is located on the MAPFRE Stadium (formerly Columbus Crew Stadium) side of 17th Street. (See below for directions on where to park and enter, below the Google map)
Lausche Building is a 52,000 square foot building that commonly hosts events like the Quarter Horse Commons and more. It’s large, spacious interior is perfect for a massive stage and production, and will give you plenty of room to dance. We’ve chosen this building as the venue for Haunted Fest 2015, and are returning for 2016, due to the potential transformation of the area, as well as massive size to host huge name artists and plenty of concert-goers. Last year’s attendees can vouch that the Lausche Building will absolutely blow your mind.
Because of it’s huge interior, it gives us the ability to provide plenty of amenities, as well as plenty of room for customization. You can except an increased number of bars, a luxurious VIP and bottle service, and enough lights to transform Columbus into the Halloween epicenter of the midwest once again.
Lausche Building, located off of 17th Avenue on the side closest to MAPFRE Stadium (formerly Columbus Crew Stadium), is only minutes from Ohio State’s campus and from downtown Columbus. There are plenty of hotels within a 5-10 minute ride from the venue as well:
- From the Greater Columbus Convention Center: 6 minutes / 3.5 miles / $5-7 Uber ride
- From the Ohio Union: 6 minutes / 1.6 miles / $3-5 Uber ride
The Expo Center grounds provide plenty of room for parking on-site, and taxis/Uber is available in Columbus too.
