The first-ever Haunted Fest lineup has been released, announcing Zeds Dead, A-Trak, Arty, and Audien as the headliners! The lineup also includes local artists Corrupt, DaveyC, Attak & Carma, Giovanny, and a Silent Disco curated by My Best Friend’s Party.
Zeds Dead has had a HUGE year, headlining North Coast Music Festival, Mad Decent Block Parties, and Electric Forest, and breaking through to the mainstream. Vice called their Electric Forest set “one of the biggest sets of the weekend, dropping their lethal taste of low end bass explosions that slowly peeled back
Foresters’ faces from their heads.” The Toronto-based duo specializes in grimy bass with deep elements of trap and glitch hop. Their sound is absolutely perfect for Halloween as they will bring a certain darkness to Haunted Fest.
Simply put, A-Trak is a living legend. Known for being one of the world’s best “real DJs” and turntablists, he heads the record label “Fools Gold” and performs a mix of funky tracks with signature hip-hop tracks. A-Trak specializes in reading crowds, and will no doubt have the entire crowd turning up to another level. Says Rolling Stone, “Critics like to skewer big-name DJs for just pressing play on their “live” shows, but A-Trak is untouchable”. Magnetic Mag reviewed a recent show of A-Trak, and praised, “Coming up from hip hop roots, A-Trak can run circles around pretty much any other headliner out there, especially with his scratching and juggling ability”.
Arty hails from Russia but has been taking over the world for years. His signature sound features upbeart driving synths incorporating elements of trance. Arty has been working with legends like Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Mat Zo, and so much more. He tends to bring a touch of pop in his sets, which appeal to absolutely everyone. If you aren’t dancing to Arty, then you’re doing it wrong. According to Vancity Buzz, “In the end, everyone leaving the building had a massive smile on their face, for Arty’s zealous set proved to the crowd that, indeed, there really is no party without Arty.”
Hailing from the state of Connecticut, Audien is making his return to Columbus after a HUGE sold-out show at Sway this past June. He may be the first headliner on stage, but Audien foregoes the warm-up stage and blasts you with waves of trance-induced tracks that will have you jumping around instantly. “Just when I thought the night couldn’t end any better, Audien closed with “Hello” by Above & Beyond. I had a lot of track expectations for this show, and left the venue beyond satisfied,” recalls EDM Insider from a concert review past May. Audien’s set will flow beautifully into Arty’s slot, and will keep the energy pumping all night.
